- Cabin filter location # 1 - In the passenger side cowl 1 - To access the cabin air filter housing, the front section of the vehicle must be removed (this is a complex operation) - you will need a socket screw driver and an allen wrench 2 - Open both doors - at the front door jams, remove all the torque screws that hold the front end of the body. 3 - Move to the front grill - use an allen wrench to unbolt the seven recessed screws (4 above the grill - 3 below) and remove the grill - these are located in the recesses between the grill and the front panel 4 - Remove the 2 screws to the left and right of the signal lights that holds the front panel onto the car. 5 - From the bottom, lift up and remove the entire front section of the car - may take two people 6 - On passenger side vent panel directly under the windshield, use your key to unlock the vent cover. 7 - Locate the cabin air housing cover - unlatch it - remove the old cabin air filter and replace. Good Luck! You may want to have some whiskey near by.
