ReinAs kit uses an OE oil filter which corresponds to the Mercedes-Benz specified filter media of the NAG II AT ensuring optimum performance. The 722.9 NAG II transmission is not equipped with a fluid level dipstick tube. Hence, the condition and level of the fluid may only be checked via the drain plug. To drain the remainder of the fluid, the one time use fluid guide tube needs to be punctured through the drain plug hole and then be replaced. CRP recommends using the OE or Pentosin ATF-134 ultra-high-performance automatic transmission fluid for this service.
